Aptive HTG Supports U.S. Coast Guard Through New Business Process Improvement Contract

Posted on 11.10.20

Aptive HTG received a contract award to provide continuous business process improvement services for the U.S. Coast Guard Office of Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence (C5I) and Sensor Capabilities (CG-761).

Through this five-year, $4.3M engagement, Aptive HTG supports the establishment of a single Requirements Management Office for the entire Coast Guard organization. Team Aptive is leading the charge to develop efficient and repeatable business processes. This will be accomplished using aggressive process improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing the use of existing staff, enabling performance to be measured against defined metrics, and inspiring a continuous process improvement mindset.

The ultimate goal is for the Requirement Office’s performance measures, practices, and policies to be validated against a professional standard, such as a Capability Maturity Model certification, certifying their organizational maturity to Coast Guard stakeholders and customers providing assurances that their capability requests will be handled efficiently and professionally.

“This is a great chance to create and build with the Coast Guard,” said Virta Jones, Aptive’s Project Manager. “We’re looking forward to helping them achieve their objectives through maturing their requirements handling processes.”

Aptive HTG is a joint venture comprised of Aptive Resources and ERPi.
