Aptive Earns HIRE Vets Platinum Medallion Award

Posted on 11.27.23

For the third consecutive year, Aptive received a 2023 HIRE Vets Medallion award from the U.S. Department of Labor for its commitment to recruiting, employing and retaining Veterans, including efforts to establish employee development programs and Veteran-specific benefits to improve retention. This is the only federal award that recognizes exceptional achievement in Veteran employment.

HIRE Vets awardees meet rigorous employment and Veteran integration assistance criteria, including hiring and retention percentages, availability of Veteran-specific resources, learning and professional development opportunities, dedicated human resource efforts, pay compensation and tuition assistance programs.

“As a Veteran myself, I have witnessed Aptive’s unwavering commitment to hire and support other Veterans,” said Tim Huntzberry, director of talent acquisition. “Our CEO, Rachele Cooper, is also a Veteran and prioritizes Veteran-focused initiatives across our entire company. I am proud to see Aptive recognized again this year and look forward to continuing to hire and work with those who have served our country.”

This employer recognition program is administered by the Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS). The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans (HIRE Vets) Medallion Program implements the requirements of the HIRE Vets Act of 2017 (Public Law 115-31).
