National Science Foundation Selects Aptive to Support National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics

Posted on 01.12.21

The National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded Aptive a three-year contract to provide the National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics (NCSES) with communication, outreach, content and strategic support to reach new audiences and increase its analytical impact.

The NCSES serves as a clearinghouse for collecting, interpreting, analyzing and disseminating objective U.S. science and engineering data. Aptive will help the Center develop communication and outreach content and materials across multiple platforms; develop and/or implement plans to redesign existing NCSES publications and stand up new ones; develop and regularly update a dashboard to track NCSES communications metrics; and support the NCSES communications team with communications-related data and analytic activities.

“We are excited about this new opportunity to share our communications, data and analytics expertise with the NCSES,” said Aly Glick, Aptive Vice President for Communications and Marketing. “We look forward to cultivating a successful and enduring relationship with the NCSES and the NSF.”

The NSF is an independent federal agency and funding source for about a quarter of all federally supported basic research conducted by America’s colleges and universities. The NCSES is part of the social, behavioral and economic sciences directorate, one of seven NSF directorates that fund science and engineering research.
