Aptive Wins Five-Year, $46.5 Million VHA Recruitment Marketing Contract
Aptive won a five-year, $46.5 million contract to support the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Workforce Management and Consulting Office in recruiting and retaining hard-to-fill health care, professional and technical positions. Aptive won the contract in partnership with Artemis ARC through their Arrow ARC joint venture.
Under the contract agreement, the Arrow team will manage, oversee and evaluate VHA’s nationwide recruitment, marketing and advertising campaign for critical medical occupations, including physicians and nurses, IT and engineering staff, and other support staff. Arrow’s diverse team of program management, creative, technical and subject matter experts will create marketing and advertising plans, ads, videos, public service announcements, brochures, blogs and web and social media content to raise positive awareness of VHA and promote the agency as an employer of choice.
VHA created the recruitment marketing campaign to address expanding national shortages in physician specialties, nursing, pharmacy and other occupations across VHA health facilities. Coupled with an aging workforce, the shortages called for a recruitment campaign to ensure VHA has adequate staff to maintain quality care across all of its facilities.
The campaign had been managed and expanded over the past five years by Aptive, under the previous contract.
