Aptive Wins Emmy Award for “New Heights” PSA Honoring Veterans

Aptive is proud to announce that its public service announcement, New Heights, created for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), has won a prestigious Emmy® Award.

The PSA, developed in collaboration with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), was honored Saturday, June 21st, in recognition of excellence in television and media arts. It celebrates career opportunities within VHA and the mission-driven professionals who support our nation’s Veterans every day.

“This award is a testament to the power of visual storytelling and its ability to inspire action,” said Sean McCoy, Director and Producer of New Heights. “We set out to create something emotionally resonant that could honor Veterans and elevate VHA as an employer of choice. Receiving an Emmy for that work is an incredible honor — and a credit to the entire creative team.”

The Emmy-winning team includes:

  • Sean McCoy – Director/Producer

Additional contributors from VHA and Aptive played vital roles in bringing the project to life behind the scenes.

“Our longtime partnership with VHA is rooted in a shared commitment to public service,” said Rachele Cooper, Aptive Chief Executive Officer. “Winning an Emmy is not just a milestone for our team, it’s a recognition of the importance of communicating with purpose. New Heights shines a light on meaningful careers that support the health and well-being of Veterans and we’re honored to be part of that mission.”

New Heights is one of many storytelling efforts Aptive has led in collaboration with federal clients to drive awareness and inspire service.
