Aptive Earns HIRE Vets Platinum Medallion Award

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) has awarded Aptive HTG a five-year contract to help meet certain requirements of the Johnny Isakson and David P. Roe, M.D., Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020, or PL 116-315, to ensure access for women Veterans to VA health care and benefits.
Under the firm-fixed price contract, Aptive will assess progress in meeting women Veterans’ health care needs by providing VHA’s newly created Office of Women’s Health (OWH) with strategic planning, policy research, data collection and reporting, project management support and program evaluation expertise.
The tasks we will perform include analyzing:
“Women make up the fastest-growing segment of the U.S. Veteran population, and the work we do under this contract is especially important,” said Dr. Jason Ormsby, Aptive’s chief health care innovation officer. “Our findings will be critical to helping VA further ensure that high-quality health care services and resources are available to all women Veterans who seek them.”
This task order falls within the Integrated Healthcare Transformation (IHT) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Under this IDIQ, Aptive HTG and IHT partners support VHA across a variety of areas as needs arise, including health care modernization and transformation, financial management business transformation, analytics and mental health and suicide prevention.
