Aptive HTG Journal Article Published in Psychological Services
Aptive HTG’s research-based and peer-reviewed article submitted to the American Psychological Association (APA) Psychological Services Journal regarding the “Association between Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Center Service Receipt and Reported Internalized Stigma among Veterans” has now been published.
This study is the first to evaluate the association between receiving Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Center (PRRC) services over time and reported levels of internalized stigma in a Veteran population across several demographics. Internalized stigma is negatively associated with a person’s willingness to seek mental health services.
