Aptive Welcomes Senior Health Leader Dr. Susan Hayashi

Aptive welcomes Susan Hayashi, Ph.D., to its leadership team as senior vice president of the Civilian Health account. Dr. Hayashi is responsible for advancing a portfolio of projects, ensuring high quality service delivery and articulating the vision for Aptive’s civilian health services.

Dr. Hayashi is a data-driven leader with over 25 years of experience supporting federal and state agencies and public health programs to deliver impactful outcomes that improve the quality of and access to health care in communities across the country. Her proven experience directing multi-million-dollar projects also includes supporting new business pursuits, resulting in wins valued at over $60M. As vice president of health innovation at Altarum Institute, Dr. Hayashi oversaw 330 staff, two divisions and over $70M in revenue.

Many of Dr. Hayashi’s roles have focused on improving public health services and access to quality care for others, including supporting most agencies within the 13 operating divisions of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Her efforts explored integrating public health services and technology solutions, program evaluation and implementation to create innovative ways to solve complex health care challenges.
