Aptive Receives PICS III IDIQ Contract from National Institutes of Health
WASHINGTON, December 18, 2024 – Aptive received a five-year, $1B indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to provide communications support through the Public Information and Communication Services III (PICS III) vehicle.
NIH is the federal government’s primary medical research agency, a focal point for American biomedical research and one of several agencies within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. NIH comprises 27 institutes and centers and its mission is to study living systems and apply knowledge that leads to improved health and reduced illness and disability.

Aptive will provide a wide range of support services to support NIH, such as developing integrated outreach strategies, helping to make health and science information accessible and providing information to audiences via a variety of channels. Other services include communications research, media operations support, outreach, material development, graphics, information technology, meetings/events and warehouse/distribution.
