Our federal government consulting internship is a paid program that will teach you how to deliver health system transformation, enterprise-level change and innovation and implementation and operations to support our federal clients like the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Participants select from five project management courses, receive enrollment and training materials at no cost and are offered a stipend.
VTP is a self-paced online program open to Veterans, members of the National Guard and Reserve and active-duty service members within six months of separation or retirement from the military.

Dr. Hoeksema serves as program manager and clinical subject-matter expert for the Aptive’s Human System Services initiative with the Department of Veterans Affairs, advancing human-centered technology design, interoperability and clinical quality initiatives across Aptive’s federal health portfolio.
