New Journal Article: Advancing Mental Health Care for Veterans
Aptive is proud to share our latest publication, “Veteran Characteristics Associated With Risk of 30-Day Inpatient Mental Health (IMH) Readmissions,” which was released this week in Psychiatric Quarterly.
This work highlights findings from one of the many mental health care program evaluations Aptive has supported as a third-party independent reviewer for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) under The Clay Hunt Suicide Prevention for American Veterans Act.
This paper offers important insights into the factors associated with readmission risk among Veterans receiving inpatient mental health treatment, helping inform data-driven strategies to strengthen care coordination, reduce rehospitalization and ultimately improve Veteran outcomes.
Aptive’s multidisciplinary team combines evaluation science, data analytics and health informatics to assess the quality and impact of VA program services. Our ongoing work reflects an evidence-based approach to program evaluation that drives meaningful improvements and a deep commitment to the well-being of those who served.
