Aptive won a three-year, $12M contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information and Technology (OIT) to provide strategic communications support to the OIT Office of Communication.

The Office of Communication provides communication services for the assistant secretary for information and technology and chief information officer, principal deputy assistant secretary and OIT chief of staff. The Office of Communication develops OIT’s communication strategy and implementation plan, ensuring consistent, timely and accurate information guided by the 2022 OIT Vision for Digital Transformation.

Aptive and teaming partners Artemis ARC and Vetrics Group will support the development and implementation of various IT-related communication strategies and services, including project management, multimedia product development, campaigns and communication with target audiences to extend the reach of key OIT messages and resources.

“Our team looks forward to supporting VA’s Office of Information and Technology,” said Emily Howell, vice president of growth. “The work we do to support Veterans is important to all of us, and this initiative will help improve experiences for both Veterans and those who provide them with services and benefits.”
