Volunteer Activities

As a company whose very purpose seeks to make the world a better place, we take meaningful, deliberate actions for our people and the communities around us.

Capital Area Food Bank

Aptive volunteers provided assistance at the Capital Area Food Bank. The Food Bank leads the region’s efforts to provide equitable access to food and opportunity to people struggling with hunger and food insecurity. Each year, they source and distribute food for over 45 million meals.

Wreaths Across America

Each December, Aptive employees and their families participate in Wreaths Across America events at Arlington National Cemetery and Veterans Affairs cemeteries across the country, laying wreaths on headstones and paying respect to Veterans.

Honor Flight

The Honor Flight Network serves Veterans from the WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War eras, as well as terminally ill Veterans who have served during any era. Their mission is to transport America’s Veterans to the Washington, DC area to visit memorials that honor their service and sacrifices, as well as their friends. Aptive volunteers serve as part of the welcoming committee for Honor Flight arrivals at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
