Aptive VXC

VeteranS Experience council

The Aptive Veterans Experience Council (VXC) is comprised of Veterans, Active Duty Military, National Guard Members and Reservists who serve as advisors and help improve the services we provide to the Veteran community through our philanthropic, corporate and client engagements.

The program offers opportunities to earn money, pursue certificates, explore full time employment and more, while giving back to Veterans by sharing feedback and informing services and solutions that we may provide to our federal customers.

How does it work?

VXC advisors are part time employees who live in the United States and are either Veterans, Active Duty Military, National Guard Members and Reservists. They’re periodically invited to participate in surveys or focus groups, or to be a part of a review session, or to test a new feature or tool.

We also share information about opportunities to transition to full time employment, how to participate in our Veteran Training Program and other items that may be of interest.

VXC advisors are paid per survey or feedback session and can work remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Why does Aptive offer this program?

Aptive VXC is a new pilot program developed in 2023. We found ourselves wishing we had a “Veteran barometer,” that is, a way to gather and interpret a wide array of Veteran perspectives.

By working closely with a diverse group of Veterans and military stakeholders, we’re able better understand their needs and design services and solutions that meet them. As part of Aptive VXC, advisors guide us in areas that are relevant and important. Thus Aptive VXC, and the Veteran Barometer, were born.

Amanda Siegner Program Analyst
