Federal IPv6 Expertise

We support the Department of Veterans Affairs in migrating their infrastructure to IPv6 and members of our team also led efforts at the Internal Revenue Service. Here’s how we support federal client transitions:

Phase I: Project Management and Training

Enterprise information technology (IT) changes require strong controls and infrastructure downtime isn’t an option. We develop and manage risk mitigation, testing and security. We ensure success by training technical staff on all systems and assets under a comprehensive change management process to prepare government stakeholders for every step in the transition.

Phase II: Architecture

To ensure a successful migration, we not only map the entire infrastructure, but also align the business objectives to meet the new operating model with confidence. We provide recommendations, processes, timelines, roadmaps and designs to accomplish goals, resulting in increased efficiency and preservation of data integrity, usability and availability.

Phase III: Implementation

The foundation of our deployment is benchmarked against the M-21-07 implementation plan that Aptive IPv6 leader Ralph Wallace co-authored for the Federal IPv6 Task Force. This plan is executed to include all artifacts from the work breakdown structure, including comprehensive gap analysis, platform, application and cybersecurity posture recommendations that can only be delivered by our team of highly specialized industry leaders.
