Aptive will assist the Department of Defense in preparing to support the full range of AI development activities through a new contract with the Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC). The five-year Data Readiness for Artificial Intelligence Development (DRAID) Basic Ordering Agreement is valued at $241 million.

Aptive will help government users prepare data for AI applications by providing services such as curating, preparing, securing and encrypting data for AI; securing, packaging and delivering AI-powered tools and software; and integrating AI tools into cloud platforms. Tasks may include everything from capturing data to sorting it for storage to modeling how employees will use it with AI to get better insights.

“This award continues our decade-long relationship with the federal government in supporting digital transformation and modernization initiatives,” said Rachele Cooper, Aptive’s chief executive officer. “We’re honored JAIC has selected Aptive as a partner and look forward to supporting data readiness that will ensure mission outcomes and contribute to DoD transformations using AI.”
